All
original graphics were designed with particular attention paid to
being fast loading. Because of this, we used a very limited palette
of red, white, gray and black. With only four basic colors, we were
able to optimize the graphics very nicely using gif files, keeping
the total graphics loading overhead extremely low. |

The
microwaves encyclopedia is maintained in two steps. PC Mojo provided
the client with a simple custom designed template with all the navigational
and programming elements isolated, all they need to do is add the
body text, header text, and html meta description using Macromedia
Dreamweaver. Since the site was developed using a combination of
Cold Fusion and Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev, we are able to
make sitewide changes at any time and simply provide a new compy
of the template to the client by publishing it to the site.
Once
the encyclopedia page is written and published to the site, one
more step is required to add the correct entry in the searchable
encyclopedia index. This is accomplished using one simple form with
four fields. Once that is done, the searchable index is re-indexed
automatically using the Cold Fusion/Verity search engine.
