| Why
do you need to promote your web site anywhere but on the Internet? Well,
you DON'T! Unless, of course, you want to maximize the potential of that
great site you've slaved over and spent so much money on. PC Mojo has had

man is an island The Internet is a great place, but it isn't perfect by any means. The sheer number of sites already published is working against you. For people to find you in the sea of competitors, you have to supplement your web search engine submissions with follow-up advertising. |

customers Maybe the people that you already sell your goods and/or services to could benefit from your web site. Perhaps they would prefer doing their shopping online instead of making the trip to your place. It's nothing against you, people just don't have much time anymore to be driving around. |

buzz While it's a great thing that now your products are available worldwide, in truth the bulk of your clientele will continue to be local people (mailorder excepted). | Incorporate Existing Advertising | |
| Use
what you've already got Be sure to include your web address the next time you order stationery, invoices, business cards, checks, any printed material you use all the time. Remember that your web (and EMail) address is now part of your identity, consider it just like your phone number. |

your print advertising Include, at a minimum, your web address in all your print advertising, including the yellow pages. A comment like 'Visit us on the web at...' may just pique the curiosity of someone looking for YOUR products! |

about it When you're talking biz with people, be sure and mention that you now have a web site, and what you like and don't like about it. Perhaps you'll pick up an idea or two to incorporate in your site the next time you're working on it. |
